Director of Food and Beverage
Contract: Permanent
Salary: $135,000 plus Bonus
The Dupont Circle Hotel, part of the award winning Doyle Collection, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Director to lead and elevate our food and beverage operation in the heart of Washington, DC. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, this senior leadership role has full responsibility for the strategic direction, operational performance, and financial success of all food and beverage outlets, including the Michelin recommended Pembroke Restaurant, Doyle Bar, Doyle & Co. coffee shop, In Room Dining, and Meetings & Events. This is a rare opportunity for a commercially driven, guest focused F&B leader to shape a high profile operation within one of DC’s most distinctive lifestyle hotels.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the overall strategy and day to day operation of all food and beverage outlets
- Drive revenue growth through innovative programming, menu development, and guest experiences
- Own departmental budgets, P&Ls, forecasting, and cost controls, including labor and inventory
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high performing leadership team across all F&B areas
- Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction and maintain a visible leadership presence
- Partner closely with Culinary, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Hotel leadership
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety, and local/state regulations
- Support meetings, events, and private dining to maximize commercial performance
Skills:
- 7–10+ years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience
- Previous experience as a Director of Food & Beverage or senior multi outlet F&B leader strongly preferred
- Proven success managing complex operations, budgets, and labor productivity
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with a hands on leadership style
- Ability to develop leaders, motivate teams, and build positive workplace culture
- Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and brand driven experiences

The Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington DC is a luxury property located right on Dupont Circle in the nation's capital. Newly renovated the hotel has 327 chicly styled and luxuriously appointed guest rooms, with 12 bespoke penthouse suites located on the 9th floor of the hotel. Home to Pembroke Restaurant and Doyle Bar, the property also boasts almost 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
