Director of Marketing - London

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Director of Marketing to lead marketing strategy and activity for our three London hotels – The Marylebone, The Bloomsbury and The Kensington.

This is a pivotal senior role, responsible for developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive reach, revenue and reputation. You will play a key role in shaping brand visibility, strengthening market position and accelerating growth during an exciting period of investment and momentum.

The Team
The role sits within the Sales & Marketing team, working closely with hotel General Managers, revenue and commercial teams. You will join a collaborative, engaged and supportive culture that truly believes People Make Places.
You’ll be joining at a time of positive change, as we further refine brand positioning and significantly increase marketing, advertising and campaign presence to deliver a step change in visibility at both hotel and group level.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to commercial objectives and revenue targets.
  • Deliver integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns that position each hotel brand distinctively while driving demand.
  • Use customer insight and performance data to inform strategy, track effectiveness and optimise campaigns.
  • Oversee digital marketing across paid social, search and display channels.
  • Lead PR activity, including campaign concepts, press events, familiarisation trips and partnership activation.
  • Work closely with Sales and Revenue teams on offers, packages and seasonal initiatives.
  • Lead and maximise marketing and brand partnerships, with a strong focus on cultural institutions.
  • Provide strategic oversight of social media content and channel performance.
  • Manage the creation of high‑quality content across photography, video, advertising and storytelling.
  • Ensure websites, collateral and marketing materials are current, compelling and on‑brand.
  • Lead brand storytelling and customer journey communications from awareness through repeat stay.
  • Deliver regular performance reporting and insight to stakeholders.

Leadership 

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with London hotel General Managers and senior leadership teams.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing London marketing team.
  • Own team structure, resourcing, performance management and development.
  • Contribute as a senior member of the wider Marketing Leadership team.
  • Ensure brand integrity and consistency across all channels.
  • Monitor market trends and adapt strategy to maintain competitive advantage.

About You

  • Senior‑level marketing leadership experience within hospitality or luxury consumer brands.
  • Proven success delivering revenue‑driving B2C marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Deep digital marketing expertise across paid and organic social, search and display.
  • Experience briefing and managing high‑quality creative output.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling and brand communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical capability and confidence turning insight into action.
  • A collaborative, people‑focused leadership style with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing teams, projects and budgets.
