Floor Manager

Main Purpose

As Floor Manager in The Bloomsbury Club, you will take control and responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the floor, ensuring facilities are maintained to the standards required and the departmental budgeted profitability is achieved. You will develop a cohesive and trained team who are able to provide superior guest service and maximize revenue. You will build business and develop repeat diners, making BCB a ‘first choice’ in the local area. 

Key Responsibilities

• To be fully aware of and control departmental operating costs in line with forecasted business levels.
• To complete daily management reports.
• To effectively lead and motivate team of staff from the front and by example.
• To ensure the shift is well organized and that the team are allocated duties and that they are completed at the end of the shift.
• To maintain a constant focus on quality - both in terms of the product and service offered. Championing LQA, Forbes and Hotel standards, motivating the entire team to do the same.
• To ensure that yourself and the team are aware of any relevant promotions within the hotel.
• To have full knowledge of all products available in the bar, including food items and prices and make recommendations where appropriate.
