Business Development Executive

An opportunity to join the sales team at The Croke Park is now available for a passionate and proactive Sales professional eager to progress their career in the hospitality industry.

The Croke Park Hotel is currently looking to add an organised Business Development Executive to the team. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for the sales office. As Business Development Executive you will ensure lasting relationships are generated and maintained with our key accounts through effective communication and support. Developing and delivering sales presentations and proposals will be second nature, and you will be comfortable in generating leads through various channels.

You will be passionate about the luxury hotel industry and keep informed on local and global industry trends and best practices. This role will be working closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as all onsite operational team members. The role may require travel to meet clients and attend industry events and tradeshows, and as such, flexible working hours may be needed to accommodate client schedules. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will need to hold a full drivers licence.

This role will suit someone who has:

• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
