Restaurant General Manager

Overview of the role

As the Pembroke General Manager, you will manage all activities of the Pembroke Restaurant function for the hotel. You will identify strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction within the department’s services, and ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations.

Hands on with a passion for hospitality, you will inspire others and be a role model for your team.

Essential functions

• Operations management of Restaurant, Restaurant bar, patio, and In Room Dining
• Organize and conduct pre-shift and department meetings, communicating pertinent information to the staff, including specials and events, guest reviews, VIP guests, and requests
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Director of F&B for creating seasonal menus and on trend menu items
• Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, training, supervision, counseling, and discipline of Pembroke Restaurant staff
• Responsible for weekly beverage ordering and food as needed
• Deliver training programs for all restaurant team members
• Maintain targeted costs both for product and labor
• Making the guests a priority of every shift
