Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the hotel's standards.
• Change bed linen and towels, replenish guest amenities, and restock supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, polish, and sanitise guest rooms and public areas as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost property promptly.
• Ensure all housekeeping trolleys and storage areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests within required timescales.

What We're Looking For

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
