Assistant Night Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Assistant Night Manager to oversee night operations at a luxury 5-star hotel in central Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious property known for delivering impeccable guest service and maintaining the highest standards overnight.

 

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Night Operations:Assist to manage the front desk during night hours, handle late arrivals and early departures, process payments, complete the night audit, and prepare daily reports.

Guest Care & Safety: Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the night, respond to incidents or emergencies, carry out security and fire safety checks.

Team Supervision: Lead and support the night team (reception, security, and housekeeping), ensuring tasks are completed and issues are resolved promptly.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to hotel policies, health & safety procedures, and carry out accurate record-keeping and handovers to day staff.

 

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar night supervisory or management role within a hotel or hospitality environment.

System Knowledge: Proficient in hotel management systems such as Opera or HotSoft.

Leadership Skills: Strong communication and team leadership abilities, with a calm and confident approach.

Customer Focus: Professional, courteous, and service-driven. Able to handle guest requests and complaints effectively.

Flexibility: Willing to work a rotating night shift pattern, including weekends and public holidays.
