Night Receptionist

At The Marylebone Hotel, we believe that exceptional hospitality never sleeps. We are looking for a professional, reliable, and personable Night Receptionist to join our Front Office team and be the welcoming face of the hotel throughout the night.

As Night Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience during overnight hours, delivering warm and personalised service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and guest care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests arriving during the night.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and concerns with confidence and empathy.
• Ensure the security and safety of guests, visitors, and colleagues during overnight hours.
• Complete night audit procedures and maintain accurate guest accounts and records.
• Support with reservations, room allocations, billing, and administrative tasks.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Anticipate guests' needs and create memorable moments whenever possible.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local recommendations.

Skills

• Previous experience in Front Office, Reception, or customer service within hospitality is preferred.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the overnight operation.
• Flexible approach to working night shifts.
