Director of Marketing - Maternity Contract

The Doyle Collection is seeking a Director of Marketing - Maternity Contract to lead the marketing strategy for The River Lee, a contemporary hotel in the heart of Cork, as it continues its positioning within the high‑end leisure market. Reporting to the General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer, this role will drive brand presence and commercial performance across rooms, food & beverage, and meetings & events, ensuring a clear and compelling narrative across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the marketing strategy for The River Lee, driving revenue across all segments
• Manage the day‑to‑day marketing function, including leadership of the Marketing Executive
• Plan and execute integrated campaigns aligned with The Doyle Collection brand strategy
• Develop and track marketing KPIs, providing insight to support commercial decision‑making
• Collaborate with the General Manager and commercial teams to align marketing with revenue goals
• Oversee social media, ensuring consistent, engaging and on‑brand content
• Manage content creation across photography, video and design
• Lead relationships with PR agencies across domestic, European and US markets
• Work closely with central digital teams to optimise website performance, SEO and paid activity
• Identify and deliver partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility
• Support the repositioning of The River Lee towards the high‑end leisure market
• Contribute to the ongoing development and elevation of the hotel’s brand

About You

• Proven experience in a senior marketing role within hospitality or lifestyle brands
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive revenue through marketing
• Experience managing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
• Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior level
• Passion for brand, storytelling and delivering high‑quality guest experiences
