The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Wine looking for a new role in an award-winning, critically acclaimed group. We opened in the Tea building in 2014 and won our first Michelin star just over a year later. We work with the best produce available, keep a small talented team and always aim to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are a restaurant that is constantly looking to learn and improve whilst remaining excellent value for our guests. Lyle’s has featured in the top 10 of the UK Top 100 restaurants and the World’s 50 Best restaurants. The RoleAs Head of Wine, you'll manage and improve the wine program at Lyle’s providing a list that feels ‘destination’ but also offers value in the many different interpretations of that word. Increase wine sales through the provision of exceptional guest experience and expertise. Maintaining and improving the wine service by training staff and creating relationships with guests, suppliers and winemakers. Making sure there is a clear and thoughtful cellaring program for ageing wines. Bringing the perceived status of the wine list in line with the food at Lyle’s. Some of the responsibilities:
