Salary - Up to £25,000 per annum

JKS Restaurants are seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator looking for a new role in an award-winning, critically acclaimed group.

The Group 

JKS Restaurants was founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi in November 2008. The group has received critical acclaim and industry recognition since its inception, including 6 Michelin stars, 3 Michelin Bib Gourmands and one restaurant ranked in the World’s 50 Best restaurants.

The JKS portfolio currently includes Michelin Starred restaurants Trishna, Gymkhana, Kitchen Table, Sabor and Lyle’s; as well as cult favourites Hoppers, BAO, Brigadiers, Berenjak, and Bibi. Pubs include The Cadogan Arms and The George; and there are 9 brands that operate within Arcade Food Hall. The Position

The Project Coordinator plays an important role within the Operations Department, monitoring tasks associated with new openings. Proactively ensuring that timelines and scope are clearly communicated and defined You will be working closely with the Head Office and Restaurant Teams to keep projects moving forward and to schedule.

Duties include:

  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management via project management software (Airtable).
  • Assist the Projects Operations Manager with pushing forward operational and administrative changes to restaurant openings.
  • Helping the Project lead to build project timing plans.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Producing weekly reports on the progress of the projects.
  • Work with the Project Lead to eliminate blockers.
  • Attend and minute weekly project meetings.
  • Undertaking ad hoc administrative duties; diary management, co-ordinating tasks, maintaining project documentation.
  • Liaise between the Design and Operations teams – managing kick off schedule.
  • Responsible for all updates to the project management software.
  • Organising all project-related paperwork.

The successful Project Coordinator will have:

  • A desire to learn more about restaurant openings
  • Passionate about bringing projects and ideas to life
  • You have strong project execution skills, including ability to multi-task across projects and teams
  • You can navigate a complex organisation, highly professional and diplomatic
  • You know when to ask for help or advice, and feel comfortable doing so
  • Attention to detail, innovative and flexible; quick learner
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft pro 365) and project management software (preferred, not essential)
