Hoppers restaurants are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to support the next stage of growth for our award-winning, critically acclaimed brand. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and digital-forward executive-level marketeer who’s mastered the fundamentals, and is now looking for more ownership, influence, and responsibility, with a clear pathway to grow into a Marketing Manager role.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing, working closely with our Co-Founder & Creative Director, Karan Gokani, leading key digital projects and shaping how Hoppers appears across every digital touchpoint. You’ll manage campaigns, social media, email, content, and collaborate with marketing and operations teams to amplify Hoppers’ voice online.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for someone who understands restaurants, loves food and culture, and is excited to hit the ground running in a busy, dynamic restaurant group where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.

About Hoppers

Hoppers was founded by JKS Restaurants and Karan Gokani in October 2015. The first Hoppers in Soho was inspired by toddy shops, home cooking and roadside stalls of Sri Lanka and South India, and served its namesake Hoppers alongside Dosas, Kothu, Short Eats, Rice and Roasts. The acclaim soon followed with reviews from London Evening’s Standard’s Fay Maschler and the late Sunday Times critic A.A. Gill who applauded Hoppers for its “seductive, comehither menu” and “spectacular, impressive, authentic, confident and swaggering kitchen”.The restaurant went on to secure its Michelin Bib Gourmand in its first year.

Following the success of Hoppers Soho, a second Hoppers at Marylebone’s St Christopher’s Place, themed around the iconic Tropical Modernist movement of the late Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa, opening in September 2017. Hoppers King’s Cross, the third and largest of the three restaurants opened in February 2020 inspired by the much-travelled coastal journey from Colombo, the island’s capital, to the historical Dutch town of Galle.

In the past nine years Hoppers has won several awards and is recognised as one of the leading South Asian restaurant brands in the UK and internationally. Over the coming years, Hoppers has plans to grow across the UK and Internationally providing numerous opportunities for its team members to develop and take on new and exciting roles.

The Role

  • Support the Head of Marketing in developing and rolling out a digital brand strategy aligned with Hoppers’ vision and growth plans.
  • Plan and deliver campaigns around menu launches, seasonal promotions, brand collaborations, and events.
  • Lead day-to-day digital marketing across CRM, web, social, and booking platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and measurable impact.
  • Take ownership of key digital projects, including the rollout of a new website, implementing and developing new CRM and booking automations, and supporting with new restaurant launches.
  • Bring the brand to life online maintaining consistent tone, storytelling, and visuals that are unmistakably Hoppers.
  • Deliver high-quality digital assets independently and with support from external/freelance design and content agencies.
  • Manage guest communications across email, CRM, and booking platforms to drive bookings, loyalty, and repeat visits.
  • Support social media execution across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, ensuring content is authentic, culturally relevant, and food-led.
  • Analyse performance data, guest insights, and feedback to evaluate campaigns and continuously improve digital marketing activity.
  • Act as a digital marketing lead within the team, driving structure, ideas, and momentum, while also supporting the team on broader marketing initiatives.
