Hours: 40 hours per week

Reports To: Events Manager, Revenue Manager & Commercial Director

Job Purpose

The Events Coordinator plays a key role in creating exceptional experiences for guests by coordinating weddings, conferences, private dining events, celebrations, and corporate functions at Rockliffe. Acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the planning journey, this role is responsible for managing enquiries, converting business opportunities, and ensuring every event is delivered with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Working closely with clients and operational teams across the resort, the Events Coordinator will build strong relationships, oversee event administration, and ensure each occasion reflects the luxury standards, service excellence, and reputation of Rockliffe.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage enquiries for weddings, conferences, private dining events, celebrations, and corporate functions, providing a professional and personalised service
  • Guide clients through the booking journey, preparing proposals, contracts, and event documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct resort show rounds, showcasing facilities and experiences while building strong relationships with prospective clients
  • Proactively follow up enquiries and opportunities, maximising conversion and revenue through effective sales and coordination activity
  • Liaise regularly with clients to ensure all event details, requirements, and preferences remain accurate and up to date
  • Prepare and distribute detailed event information to operational teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery
  • Work closely with departments across the resort to ensure all events are planned and executed to the highest standards
  • Support weddings, conferences, celebrations, exhibitions, and special projects, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for every client
  • Follow up with clients after events to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and identify future business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records, booking information, and event systems in line with departmental procedures
  • Build strong commercial awareness through knowledge of the local market, competitors, and industry trends
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, health and safety, and data protection at all times
