Haddington Care Home is a purpose-built home located in the heart of the scenic market town of Haddington. We provide exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite, and Palliative care for up to 68 residents in a warm, supportive environment where residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

We are now looking for a compassionate and experienced Night Nurse Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where your expertise, professionalism, and compassion will guide the care team through the night, ensuring residents receive the very best care.

What You Will Do
As Night Nurse Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe, high-quality delivery of nursing care during the night. You will oversee residents’ clinical needs, administer medication, and respond swiftly to changes in health. You will also lead handovers, manage care plans, and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.

Working closely with your team, you will provide guidance, mentoring, and support to care assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Above all, you will bring reassurance and confidence to residents and their families, promoting dignity and respect in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A calm, confident, and compassionate approach
  • Previous experience in a care home is helpful but not essential
