Rubislaw Park Care Home is an award-winning nursing and care facility, located in Aberdeen’s West End. We provide exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 86 residents.
We are now seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals while helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment.

What You Will Do
You will assist with food preparation, check and store deliveries safely, and help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all kitchen areas. Following food safety and health and safety practices, you will ensure equipment, appliances, and work surfaces are kept sanitised and well-organised. Working closely with the wider kitchen team, you will contribute to a smooth-running and professional environment.
About You
- Organised, reliable, and a great team player
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential – training will be provided
