Head Chef

• £14.04 per hour
• Full time contract
• No late nights and a genuine work life balance
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• Onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Head Chef, this is a rare opportunity to lead a kitchen where quality truly matters and where you can take pride in your work every day. Unlike traditional hospitality roles, you will enjoy a stable routine, no late nights and the chance to create fresh, high quality meals in a calm and supportive environment.

You will lead the kitchen team, ensuring meals are nutritious, well presented and tailored to residents’ needs and preferences. You will have the freedom to plan menus, bring creativity into your cooking and make a real impact on residents’ daily lives through food.

This role goes beyond cooking, it is about creating enjoyable dining experiences, supporting wellbeing and contributing to a positive atmosphere within the home. You will oversee kitchen operations, manage stock, maintain high hygiene standards and ensure everything runs smoothly day to day.

What We Are Looking For

• City and Guilds 706 1 and 2 or equivalent qualification
• Food Hygiene Certificate
• Previous experience in a senior or supervisory kitchen role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• A passion for delivering high quality meals
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in a care setting is beneficial but not essential
