Role Overview
As Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in the successful opening and ongoing development of this brand new care home, taking full ownership of the environment from day one. This is a unique opportunity to shape how the home looks, feels and operates, ensuring it is safe, fully functional and maintained to the highest standard.

You will lead on all aspects of maintenance, from setting up systems and schedules to managing day to day repairs and compliance checks. This includes fire safety systems, emergency lighting, water safety and general building upkeep, ensuring everything is fully operational as the home welcomes its first residents.

Alongside hands on tasks such as basic electrical, plumbing and joinery work, you will support the final stages of commissioning, assist with installations and ensure all areas of the home are presented to an exceptional standard. You will take pride in creating a well maintained, safe and welcoming environment that supports both residents and colleagues.

Working closely with the Home Manager and external contractors, you will help establish strong maintenance processes, manage records and ensure all work meets regulatory and safety requirements. You will also contribute to ongoing improvements as the service grows, making a real impact from the very beginning.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys building systems, taking ownership and being part of something from the ground up.
