Salary: £12.90 per hour
Hours: Fulltime – 40 hours per week, including weekends
Reporting to: Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader
Job Purpose:
The Waiter will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to all guests dining at Atlas. This is a hands-on, guest-focused role where attention to detail, professionalism and genuine hospitality are at the heart of every interaction.
Key responsibilities of the Waiter:
· Ensure you pro-actively work on all opportunities to maximise revenue and employ up selling techniques whenever possible
· To control food and beverage wastage and stock levels in the department
· To ensure that all guests are billed correctly
· Excellent communication skills both with guests and colleagues at all levels whilst maintaining a level of professionalism at all times
· To help create a welcoming and comfortable ambience
· Ensuring all guests coming into the restaurant receive a friendly, warm and professional welcome
· To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order ensuring all necessary equipment is in working order
· To ensure that special requests (diets, etc.) are tactfully and skilfully handled
· To ensure we provide continuity of service to all guests throughout the duration of their visit, including delivery of meals and drinks
· To ensure the restaurant is cleared down at the end of service in preparation for the next shift
· To co-ordinate with the Kitchen in a professional manner throughout service
· To be organised and efficient at all times
