Our private care home in Hampshire offers Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 66 residents. We provide a warm, welcoming environment where every resident can enjoy a fulfilling and enriched lifestyle.

Are you passionate about making a real difference? We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator who loves bringing joy and engagement to the lives of older people. You’ll be sociable, organised, and full of ideas to help our residents thrive. This role is about more than just arranging activities – it’s about creating meaningful connections and tailoring experiences to each resident’s preferences and abilities, including those with dementia and complex care needs.

What We Offer

  • £12.22 per hour
  • contracted to 20 hours per week 
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)

Your Role
You will design, organise, and lead a varied programme of activities that keep residents active, stimulated, and socially engaged. Your work will encourage residents to maintain hobbies and try new experiences in a supportive setting. You’ll build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities reflect individual interests and abilities. Accurate documentation and ongoing evaluation of activities will help us continually improve our residents’ quality of life.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in organising events or activities, ideally in a care setting (but not essential)
  • A creative, confident, and friendly approach that helps residents feel included and happy
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older people
