Contract: Permanent
Salary:

Customer Service Executive
Service-led. Commercially driven. Technically precise.

Reproflex3 is a specialist pre-press packaging business, providing artwork, plate-making and plate-mounting services across the print and packaging industry. We're looking for a Customer Service Executive to join a high-performing team where precision, ownership and customer care are central to every project - someone who is as comfortable identifying a new commercial opportunity as they are ensuring incoming files meet the standards our customers expect.

Location: Cramlington, Northumberland
Hours: Fulltime – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Competitive - Depending on Experience
Reporting to: Commercial Operations Manager

Job Purpose:
The Customer Service Executive owns the customer's project from first enquiry through to delivery - combining genuinely excellent service with the technical discipline to ensure every file and component moves through the business accurately, efficiently and to specification. It's a role for someone with a can-do attitude who takes ownership, builds confidence with customers, and is just as energised by strengthening relationships and creating commercial opportunities as they are by keeping projects moving to a high standard.
This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site in Cramlington. We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded professional who works confidently and independently, builds real relationships with customers and suppliers, keeps a close technical eye on incoming artwork and components, and actively looks for ways to grow the business organically through the relationships they hold.
We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in getting the small things right - because in a high-performing pre-press environment, precision, pace and reliability are what customers remember.

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Executive:

• Managing customer projects across Client Services, Artwork and Pre-Press, Plate Making, and Plate Mounting, with clear accountability for service quality, communication, timelines, and delivery performance

• Preflighting incoming customer files, artwork and components against print and technical specification - giving customers clear, confident guidance and ensuring work enters production accurately and to the right standard.

• Keeping customer projects on track by coordinating priorities, anticipating risks early, and ensuring expectations are managed professionally from start to finish.

• Supporting budgets, forecasts, quotations, and performance reporting, with a genuine focus on sales opportunities, margin awareness, and organic growth targets

• Working independently across departments to move work forward, align priorities, and keep customer commitments on schedule.

• Maintaining strong relationships with key customers and suppliers, using regular communication to protect service levels and proactively identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts

• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen the customer experience

• Working closely with Sales and Commercial Operations to support pipeline activity, follow up opportunities, and contribute directly to the business's organic growth plans

• Managing project risk, customer requirements, and compliance with relevant internal procedures, regulations, and policies

Key Experience of the Customer Service Executive:

Essential:

• Experience in customer service, project coordination, account management, or commercial support
• A keen eye for technical detail and the confidence to check files, artwork or components against specification before they move forward
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Commercial awareness and confidence handling quotations and customer discussions

Desirable:

• Experience within print, packaging, artwork, pre-press, or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with preflighting artwork or print files - checking die lines, colour separations, resolution and file integrity - training provided for the right candidate
• Experience supporting sales activity and business development initiatives

What Makes You Right for This Role:

• A genuine can-do attitude - you take ownership, bring energy to customer challenges, and help move work forward with confidence.
• A natural drive to seek out organic growth - spotting opportunities within existing relationships rather than waiting for them to land on your desk
• The technical discipline to get the detail right - comfortable checking files and components against specification, not just relying on someone else to catch it
• A calm, professional manner in a fast-moving environment, with the communication skills to keep customers confident and projects moving even when priorities change.
• Pride in doing things properly, for yourself and for the customer
• When a customer needs support at a critical moment (even at 4:45pm on a Friday), you're the person who helps bring clarity, momentum and confidence - making sure the right action is taken and the standard stays high.
If that sounds like how you already work, rather than how you'd have to try to work, we'd like to hear from you.

Benefits:

• Holiday entitlement – 22 days + Bank Holidays - increasing to a maximum of 25 (x1 additional day for every 2 full years of service)
• Free onsite parking
• Employee Assistance Programme
• Pension contribution
• Company social events
