What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking enthusiastic and creative catering staff who are passionate about food and eager to share their expertise with our learners. Are you able to equip students with the technical skills, creativity, and confidence to thrive in the fast-paced world of hospitality. We are looking for someone who can work closely with local industry leaders, helping to align education with real-world opportunities and demands and play a key role in transforming our department, ensuring our curriculum is at the cutting edge of industry trends and innovation. If you have a love for cooking, a flair for creativity, and a desire to mentor and support others, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support learners in their culinary journey by sharing your knowledge and skills
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Preparation and presentation of food for events and classes
- Plan and create menus, considering seasonality and availability of ingredients
- Collaborate with our team to develop innovative menu ideas and cooking techniques
- Run a service in our student-run Enfields Kitchen
- Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Support learners to build resilience and confidence in the kitchen and front of house.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Substantial cooking experience with comprehensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, recipes, equipment, and procedures
- L3 qualification in Professional Cookery or similar
- Excellent technical cooking skills and an understanding of flavour and ingredients
- Knowledge of various cuisines and how professional kitchens function
- A passion for food, current cooking techniques and outstanding customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs
- Food hygiene
- A teaching qualification or willing to work towards one with our support.

We'll provide comprehensive training and cover the cost of your qualification while you gain valuable teaching experience.
