Kingfisher House Care Home is a purpose built 77 bed care home located in Perth, set in a stunning riverside location on the banks of the River Tay. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern and well supported environment where team members can develop their skills, work as part of a strong team and make a meaningful difference every day.
Housekeeping Assistant
- £12.71 per hour
- Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
- Onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
- Full training and ongoing support
Role Overview
As a Housekeeping Assistant, this role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues. Cleanliness and hygiene are essential to supporting residents’ wellbeing and creating a comfortable place to live.
The role involves carrying out a range of domestic duties across the home, including cleaning bedrooms, communal areas and sanitary facilities to a high standard. Attention to detail is key, ensuring all areas remain hygienic, well maintained and presentable.
Working alongside the wider team, the role also supports laundry processes, ensuring items are handled safely and correctly. The role contributes to creating a positive environment where residents feel settled, comfortable and at home.
