Located in the rural town of Radstock, Rowan Park Care Home is a modern, traditionally built service offering luxury accommodation for up to 50 residents. We provide high-quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care in a warm, safe and supportive environment.
We are now looking for a reliable and detail-focused Kitchen Assistant to join our team. If you take pride in keeping things clean, organised, and enjoy supporting others behind the scenes, this could be the perfect role for you.
What We Offer:
- £12.48 per hour
- 16 hours per week across 2 days
- Paid DBS, pension scheme, free uniform and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
- A warm, welcoming environment with training and support from day one
Your Role:
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals, helping to create a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment for our chefs and residents alike. You will assist with food prep, cleaning routines, safe storage of deliveries, and day-to-day kitchen tasks that ensure every meal is served to the highest standard.
Whether you are helping with food handling, maintaining hygiene, or keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, your contribution will be essential to the daily life of our home.

Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation setting is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided. Most importantly, you will be organised, professional, and committed to providing a great service.
