We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join the team at Oaklea Dementia Care Unit, a newly refurbished 26-bed specialist unit within Ashlea Court Care Home. Part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist division of Care Concern Group, Oaklea provides high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with complex physical and mental health needs, including dementia. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new team where your clinical expertise and leadership will make a real difference every day.
What We Offer
- £20.50 to £21.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- £1,000 welcome bonus (T&C’s apply)
- Annual NMC fees paid
- Contracted up to 44 hours per week

- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
What You Will Do
As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the heart of the Oaklea team, delivering both clinical excellence and holistic care. You will collaborate closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to design and implement personalised care plans. You will organise and lead your team during shifts, oversee handovers, monitor residents’ health, administer medications safely, and ensure all care documentation is precise and up to date. You will build strong, trusting relationships with residents and families, support independence in daily activities, promote engagement and social interaction, and maintain a safe and secure environment at all times. You will respond to emergencies effectively and act on feedback to continually improve the standard of care.
About You
You are a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN. While care home experience is advantageous, your passion for improving the lives of residents and commitment to person-centred care are what truly matter. You naturally connect with people—residents, families, and colleagues—bringing warmth, empathy, and calm to every interaction. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to guide your team clearly and compassionately while advocating for residents’ needs.
