Our private care facility in Hampshire provides Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 66 residents, offering an enriched and fulfilling lifestyle in a warm and supportive environment.

We are now looking for a creative and enthusiastic Activities Lead to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will design and deliver a wide range of engaging activities that bring fun, connection, and fulfilment to our residents’ lives. You will also oversee the activity programme, ensuring that all sessions are meaningful, inclusive, and tailored to residents’ individual needs.

What We Offer

  • £14.30 per hour
  • 40 hours per week (with weekend availability – every second Saturday)
  • Paid breaks for any shift over 6 hours

  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
As Activities Lead, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and leading a varied programme of activities that reflect residents’ hobbies, preferences, and wellbeing needs. You will encourage participation, promote social interaction, and support both group and one-to-one activities. You will also maintain accurate records, coordinate with the Home Manager, and ensure the activities team delivers a consistent, enjoyable experience for all residents.

  • Ability to plan and deliver diverse activities and events
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people and improving their quality of life
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in activity planning or a care environment is helpful but not essential
