Director of Meetings and Events Operations

Fairmont Windsor Park are looking for a Director of Meeting & Events Operations devoted into turning moments into memories for our guests. We have an exciting opportunity for a Director dedicated to delivering amazing service all day every day in our operational Meetings, Conference and Events department.

In partnership with Accor, the Arora Group is bringing the iconic Fairmont brand to the Windsor area, which promises to be a superb retreat adjacent to Windsor Great Park and Savill Gardens.

As a Director of Meeting and Events Operations at Fairmont Windsor Park, you will ensure a smooth and effective running of the entire meetings and events operations. As the operational leader, you are the strategic service expert, assist in maintaining and improving the Fairmont Windsor Park standards of operations and manage and develop your team.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years experience within luxury hospitality in a management position
• Experience in a large banqueting environment (400 plus guests) and large meetings facilities
• HACCP Level 3 is required
• Personal alcohol license is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skill
• Ability to introduce change effectively
• Ability to adapt to a frequently changing market environment. Be proactive and able to “think outside of the box”
• High service quality standards, driven and a ‘can do’ attitude
• Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
• Computer literate & excellent knowledge of Opera, Symphony and MICROS is an asset
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset
