Senior Meetings & Events Sales Executive

We are now looking for a talented Senior Meeting and Events Sales Executive to ensure that all enquiries for Meetings & Events are efficiently dealt with allowing for maximum usage/yield within these areas. The Senior Meeting and Events Sales Executive will fully explore the sales potential of all new and existing clients.

What will you be doing?

  • Dealing with all enquiries for Meetings & Events courteously and efficiently, offering the highest level of customer service, whilst ensuring that, when possible, the enquiry becomes a sale.
  • Looking after events of 100 delegates and more, with primary focus on ballroom residential events.
  • Assisting the Meetings and Events Executives when necessary.
  • To keep in close contact with all prospective Meeting & Events organisers, ensuring that all their requirements are accurately recorded using every opportunity to maximise sales.
  • To control the business mix ensuring maximum revenue.
  • To keep an up-to-date record in Delphi of past and present clients that have used the Meetings & Events facilities and to maintain an up-to-date filing system.

Who we are looking for:

  • Hotel and large scale events experience preferred.
  • Ideally the candidate should have at least 3 years experience in this field.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Computer literate – Delphi/Salesforce systems preferred.
