We are now looking for a Director of Rooms devoted to turning moments into memories for our guests. We are sourcing a talented individual who has proven success in guest service delivery, training and the management of multiple departments.

The Director of Rooms will provide strategic leadership and hands-on daily operational guidance to the Rooms Division; including Front Desk, Guest Services, Reservations, Bell/Valet, Housekeeping and Spa Departments to ensure the achievement of established quality and guest service standards and departmental revenue and profit goals. The Director of Rooms will deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the hotel/brand to life. This role will deputise in the Hotel Manager’s absence in terms of managing financial results (revenue, cost of sales, payroll & related expenses, other expense, departmental income, gross operating income and net operating income) of the hotel, management of talent, goals and results.

As Director of Rooms, the strategic support and leadership you provide to your teams will ensure exceptional service standards, maximized operating results and memorable guest experiences.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years in similar position within operations in luxury hotel environment
  • Proactive with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong background with strategic vision, planning and understanding of the competitive environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the room’s division operational departments.
  • Ability to develop, coach and mentor operational managers.
  • Capacity of organization, professionalism and resistance to pressure, quality oriented, flexible and adaptable.
  • A strong understanding of luxury service and luxury guest expectations.
