In line with One Aldwych policies and procedures, provide a pro-active and re-active maintenance, Maintenance service to the guest bedrooms and all hotel areas, back of house and front of house under the guidance of the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer, thus maintaining the hotel’s systems and decorative order and appearance to the highest standards, on a 4 days on/ 4 days off shift pattern.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance activities in accordance with the company and departmental standards to all areas of the hotel. This will include guest bedrooms, public areas, and all main plant /machinery.
• Protect the assets of the hotel and company to include any items of uniform and company tools issued.
• Be conversant with all maintenance department policies and procedures.
• To understand all areas of operation to include Electrical, Mechanical, and plumbing.
• Participate within the engineering shift rota pattern.
• Participate within the operation of the emergency attendance call-out facility.
• Comply with all current relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time by senior management.
• Perform all duties professionally, promptly, and efficiently.
