Front of House Team Leader
39 hours per week
This position is open (or will be open soon) in several hotels managed by glh Hotels Group. If we don't have a position to offer in this hotel, we may contact you for similar role in another hotel in Central London.
Drawing on the legacy of the guests who stayed here in decades past – and an inspiration to those who are yet to write their own story – Hard Rock Hotel London at Hyde Park stands alone as a haven for music lovers and cultural explorers everywhere.
Located on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane, we pay tribute to former residents such as Jimi Hendrix, Diana Ross, Bob Dylan and Buddy Holly with an incredible memorabilia collection and original artwork in every bedroom.
The hotel boasts an onsite Hard Rock Cafe, Hard Rock Cocktail Bar, Hotel GMT Bar and a Rock Royalty Lounge. So, whether our guests are ready to rock London’s nightlife, enjoy a well-earned family holiday, host that all-important business meeting or indulge in a romantic evening for two, they will find everything they need – because, in the end, everyone wants to be treated like a rock star.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who are passionate about great service to join our Front of House team as Team Leaders/Supervisors. Our Team Leaders are responsible for the supervision of our team members for the duration of a shift.
You will ensure that your team provide great service from the first impression to the moment they leave. Previous experience with Opera is an advantage as you will of course be helping our guests with Check-in and Check-Out, however more than that you will have the opportunity to really get to know your guests in order to better anticipate their needs and deliver a truly personalised experience. You will need to be pro active in solving guest queries and be able to do your best work while remaining cool and calm under pressure.
Our Front of House Teams work a shift rota so you will need to be comfortable working five days out of seven, with some early shifts and some late shifts.
