We are currently recruiting for a Cook/Commis Chef on a full time basis. The ideal candidate would be required to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly by assisting in the food preparation and general up keep of the kitchen.

Key Competencies:

Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas.
Assisting in food production.
Assisting in producing menu ideas.
Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling all with great care
Making sure that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, cookers are in good working order.
Reporting any fault equipment to the kitchen manager.
Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times
Skills and Experience required:

Previous experience working as a Commis Chef
Can accurately follow instructions
Meticulous in detail
Able to work unsupervised
Attention to detail
