THE ROLE

We are seeking an innovative, gritty, and forward-thinking Head of Technology to join our New York headquarters. Reporting directly to the Chief Transformation and Technology Officer, you will be the driving force behind the digital and technical infrastructure that powers our luxury menswear experience. We are an elevated brand in growth mode, meaning you will need a scrappy, hands-on approach combined with the strategic vision to scale our global architecture. From revolutionizing our omnichannel retail environments to optimizing our D2C e-commerce stack, you will own the technical roadmap that keeps our brand at the cutting edge.

What You'll Do

• Own and execute the technology strategy across the enterprise architecture, from e-commerce and in-store POS through to ERP and everything in between
• Partner with the Chief Transformation and Technology Officer to align tech investments with our strategy and ambitious revenue targets.
• Lead a small but mighty team of developers and IT professionals, fostering a culture of creative problem-solving and high operational standards.
• Spearhead seamless integrations between digital platforms and physical store environments to deliver a highly curated, premium customer journey.
• Manage vendor relationships, technology budgets, and the unit economics of our tech stack to ensure we operate efficiently without compromising quality.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and upscale atmosphere reflective of the John Varvatos brand.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of technology leadership experience, ideally within the luxury retail, fashion, or D2C apparel sectors.
• Proven track record of scaling digital infrastructure and e-commerce platforms
• Experience managing an IT team
• Experience working across different time zones
• A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with the strategic foresight to build for the future.
• Exceptional communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and creative or brand leadership.
  
  

This is a full time role available at a rate of $145 - $160K/Yearly.
