THE ROLE

THE ROLE:

The Operations Supervisor will strategically and proactively implement all operational projects and processes for the business, reporting into General Manager, along with working in collaboration with the retail leadership teams. The Operations Supervisor Manager will act as a key driver in operational excellence throughout the store from the stock room to the sales floor.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Implement and action Inventory Control measures within the store
Maintain and coordinate supply orders for the store, including stationery
Facilitate accurate reporting for General Manager, daily/weekly sales recaps
Partner with Visual Merchandising and maintain awareness to store execution/standards
Lead store maintenance and Logistics duties.
Constantly looking to improve operations and processes with customer experience in mind
BOH Procedure
Profit Protection within the store (BRINKS, deposits, etc.)
Ensures all store goal budgets are met, adhering to approved store supply spending and process
Manage all store product recalls and price adjustments/re-tickets in partnership with the Merchandising team to ensure compliance and appropriate process is completed, including deadlines and execution.
Lead store inventory audit process, analyzing results on a micro and macro level.
You will act as the voice of the customer and brand in operational projects within the store.
Research best practices within competitors and stay abreast of front-line innovations while using best-in-class technology to update and future-proof store brand operations
Implement operational strategies to drive the productivity, profitability and satisfaction of the store, and online customers.
Manage any third-party relationships within the store to ensure work is completed within company standards.
Support the store marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness.
Implement solutions to improve operations in store to support the Brand Strategy, which leads to long-term excellence.
Manage and implement strategies that will focus on risk management to the business
Ensure all operations comply with legislation, risk and safety management, and profit protection protocol.
Act as first point of contact for employees in the absence of the General Manager, providing strong leadership skills to staff to support business

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Process-obsessed and constantly looking to streamline
Strong organizational skills
Strong follow up, follow through and attention to detail needed.
Ability to multitask and prioritise when being given multiple assignments at once.
Must Develop strong working partnerships with other departments to increase effectiveness and efficiency, able to manage these partnerships laterally and upwards where required, utilising negotiation and influencing skill
Schedule must remain flexible.

EXPERIENCE

2+ years of relevant experience in Operations/Retail/Store Management preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace platforms
