An amazing opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Team as a Financial Accountant at Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit and financial control requirements of our growing international hospitality business.
This is a broad and varied role, working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider Finance team across our UK, US and international operations, with the opportunity to play an important part in supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare Group and subsidiary statutory accounts, including consolidations and intercompany eliminations
- Support month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- Manage and coordinate external audit requirements, ensuring deadlines are met
- Support corporation tax, VAT and wider tax and regulatory compliance
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls across the Group
- Support the development and optimisation of Sage Intacct and wider finance systems
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Support finance projects including new restaurant openings, acquisitions and other business initiatives
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, the wider Finance team and restaurant teams
About you:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant
- Previous experience within a Group environment, including consolidations
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Confident communicating with stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Experience with Sage Intacct advantageous
- Previous hospitality or retail experience advantageous
