About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Hotel Administrator to support the day-to-day administrative operations of the hotel. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel’s back-office functions while supporting the management team with a variety of administrative, financial and operational tasks.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and hotel management team
- Manage general office administration including emails, filing, document management and correspondence
- Support payroll administration, including timesheets and staff records
- Assist with HR administration such as onboarding paperwork, contracts and employee documentation
- Maintain accurate records for invoices, purchase orders and supplier communications
- Support finance processes including invoice processing and expense tracking
- Coordinate internal communications and assist with meeting preparation and minutes
- Ensure compliance documents, licences and policies are up to date and properly filed
- Assist with stock ordering and supplier coordination where required
- Support departmental managers with administrative tasks as needed
Skills and Experience
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within hospitality or a hotel environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
