We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to maintain, repair, and improve hotel facilities and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and guest safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions promptly
- Maintain and test fire alarms, emergency lighting, and safety systems
- Manage maintenance logs and ensure compliance with statutory regulations
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialised repairs
- Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability goals
- Respond quickly to breakdowns or urgent maintenance requests
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to high standards
- Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades
