Apprentice - Commis Chef

We are currently recruiting for a Apprentice - Commis Chef at Labcorp Harrogate.

Location: Labcorp

Rate of pay: £6.40 per hour - Apprenticeship

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

This is a fantastic ‘earn while you learn’ apprenticeship incentive and has been designed to create a platform for personal growth and professional progression.

Working as a commis chef is a great way of getting started in a kitchen - whilst it’s the most junior culinary role, it provides a fantastic opportunity to learn a wide range of key skills on-the-job. A primary objective of the commis chef is to learn and understand how to carry out the basic functions in every section of the kitchen, which gives you the ability to experience, consider and value each section, then choose an area where you feel most inspired. Our Level 2 Senior Commis chef apprenticeship with provide you with the skills and knowledge required to succeed within this role You will spend a portion of your time working closely with an apprentice advisor who will support you in achieving this goal.
