
Groups Coordinator
Reservations
The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel, is currently recruiting for a Groups Co-ordinator to join our talented Reservations team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of the Groups Coordinator, your key focus will be to:
• Manage all Group Block Space – Meetings Groups, Leisure/Tour Series, Corporate/Incentive Groups, Exhibition & Event Groups and Allocations.
• Be the main point of contact for accommodation only groups, to ensure all elements of the booking from receipt of handover through to end of hotel stay are delivered to the highest possible standard.
• Ensure groups are greeted personally on arrival including evenings and weekends where required.
• Input Group/Block Reservations into SHIJI reservations system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete in line with the agreed departmental standards.
• Ensure regular spot checks are made on both SHIJI and Salesforce blocks to ensure accuracy of bookings and all details are in line with contracted terms and conditions.
• Respond to all incoming amendment requirements for confirmed and contracted groups.
• Ensure strict chasing, follow up, payment procedures are in place and adhered to.
• Ensure full and accurate communication with all relevant departments on group requests, updates and issues, and to attend the weekly Groups Meetings and any Pre-Con meetings as required.
• Process all enquiries, amendments and confirmations within 24 hours.
Do you have? -
• previous experience within reservations environment
• previous experience with handling of group bookings (desirable)
• ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• strong organisational and administrative skills
• strong customer focus
• drive/competitive spirit and thrives on achieving targets
• previous use of Daylight by SHIJI and Salesforce systems is advantageous
