House Guide (Saturday)

We are currently recruiting for someone to join our Saturday House Guide team at Bowood House & Gardens.

The successful applicant will have excellent customer service and communication skills, along with a genuine passion for learning about and sharing the history of Bowood House with our visitors. Previous experience in a customer-facing role would be advantageous but is not essential, as full induction training will be provided. A strong interest in history and a warm, engaging manner are key to ensuring our visitors enjoy a memorable and informative experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to, welcoming and engaging with our visitors upon entry and during their time in Bowood House, assisting in the Terrace Gift Shop, and completing security checks. The option to conduct House Tours to visiting groups is also a possibility.

This is a paid, seasonal position aligned with Bowood’s open season (27th March – 1st November 2026). The role is to cover a Saturday vacancy, with shifts scheduled between our opening hours of 10:30am and 5:30pm.
