Terrace Gift Shop Assistant (Part-Time)

We are currently recruiting for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to work in the Terrace Gift Shop, located within Bowood House. This role is primarily to work a Thursday and Friday, with flexibility to cover additional days when required.

Open daily throughout our season (27th March – 1st November 2026), the Terrace Gift Shop offers a range of locally sourced produce, Bowood memorabilia, and a variety of unique gift items.

Applicants must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and should ideally have experience in a retail or customer service environment. As the role is based within Bowood House, a willingness to learn about the history of Bowood and confidently share this knowledge with visitors is essential.

This is a paid, seasonal position, aligned with Bowood’s open season (27th March – 1st November 2026).
Your regular working days will be Thursday and Friday, with shifts falling between our opening hours of 10:30am – 5:30pm. However, you must be prepared to provide cover on other days of the week, including weekends, if and when required.
