We are seeking an experienced Private Housekeeper to join an ultra high-net-worth family based in St John’s Wood, London. This is an opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys maintaining a beautiful home to the very highest standards and understands the discretion, attention to detail, and professionalism required within a private household.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day housekeeping of a prestigious family residence, ensuring every room is presented impeccably and every detail is considered. From meticulous cleaning and laundry management to careful organisation and presentation, you will play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and flawlessly maintained home.

Alongside housekeeping duties, you will assist with light food preparation, helping to support the smooth running of the household.

About You

  • Proven experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household, luxury residence, yacht, private estate, or similar environment
  • Exceptional housekeeping standards with an eye for detail
  • Experienced in caring for fine furnishings, delicate fabrics, and high-end finishes
  • Professional, trustworthy, and highly discreet
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable supporting with light meal preparation and kitchen duties
  • Able to provide excellent, contactable references

Essential Requirements

  • Previous private household experience
  • Strong employment references
  • High levels of discretion and confidentiality
  • Availability to work Fridays as a non-negotiable requirement
