What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Leading sections during service and ensuring food quality is consistently high
  • Coaching and developing junior chefs and kitchen team members
  • Helping maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP standards
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
  • Supporting menu development and seasonal specials
  • Working closely with the wider hotel team to deliver an outstanding guest experience

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who combines technical skill with a genuine passion for people and hospitality.

You'll likely have:

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef within a hotel, restaurant, or premium hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations
  • A positive, hands-on leadership style
  • The ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for coaching and developing others
  • Good understanding of food safety and health & safety requirements
  • A desire to continue learning and progressing your career

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in your work, and genuinely loves creating great experiences through food.
