Job Title: Document Controller (Factory-Based)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Document Controller to join our team. The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling the flow of design drawings, then reporting any changes/issues made to a particular Project coordinator or Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control and maintain all factory-related documentation, including production records, drawings, specifications, and quality documents
  • Ensure accurate version control of technical drawings and manufacturing instructions
  • Distribute updated documents to production teams, supervisors, and quality personnel
  • Maintain document control systems for factory operations, ensuring easy access and traceability
  • Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure documentation reflects current processes
  • Track and log revisions, approvals, and document changes
  • Support quality assurance processes, including audits and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and ISO/quality standards
  • Assist in maintaining records related to materials, batch production, and testing


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller, ideally within manufacturing, precast, or construction environments
  • Strong understanding of document control processes in a factory or production setting
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with shop floor teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirahle 
  • Experience within precast concrete or heavy manufacturing
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and production documentation
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management system
