Labouer & Crane Operative — Trent Precast

Hours: Monday to Friday — 8:00am to 6:00pm

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Foreman and Factory Manager
- Operating overhead gantry cranes to lift precast units in a safe, controlled and timely manner
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Working outside as required across all weather conditions
- Ensuring all lifting and movement is carried out in line with company procedures and safety standards
- Providing clear handovers at the end of each shift and attending weekly team meetings
- Keeping work areas, yard and access routes clean, tidy and hazard-free
Requirements
- Experience working within a factory or manufacturing environment
- Experience of precast concrete or heavy construction products is preferred
- Experience operating overhead gantry cranes is essential for this role
- Awareness of health and safety procedures and safe working practices
- Quality-focused and process-driven, working to production targets
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
