Commercial Manager

Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire

McMullen Façades is a leading specialist façade manufacturer and contractor, providing full design, fabrication and installation of unitised panels for medium and large scale building projects.

Due to expansion, we are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our team in our manufacturing facility in Newark, Nottinghamshire.  This is a new role within our business, working within our manufacturing facility, as part of the wider McMullen Commercial team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of estimates, quotes and VOs for project teams and monthly invoicing reports.
  • Overall control of costs and revenue of Newark.
  • Control of labour costs including payment certs to labour agencies/sub-contractors.
  • Preparation of productivity and KPI reports to assess efficiency and profitability of the business unit.
  • Support to stock control and material usage.
  • Preparation of supporting documentation for Vesting Certificates to project teams.
  • General reporting and support to the operations team and business.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Construction, Quantity Surveying or similar relevant discipline.
  • Experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management/Finance within a manufacturing and or construction business.
  • High degree of computer literacy · Highly developed interpersonal, people and client management skills.
  • Commercially astute with ability to implement and manage project / manufacturing budgets.
