Requirements of a Bespoke Precast Operative
- Experience within a GRC facility / architectural precast manufacturing facility essential.
- Experienced with the technical ability to set up precast units and work to processes
- Ability to read manufacture drawings
- Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
Responsibilities of a Precast Operative
- Reporting to the Operative Supervisor
- Safe and accurate production of lattice planks, balcony units and wall panels.
- Prepring moulds
- installing shutters and formwork
- Positioning lattice girders, reinforced steel, cast-in fixings, conduits, sockets and other inserts.
- checking dimensions, and carrying out visual inspections.
- Working to drawings handed out and setting up precast units with accordance to as shown and within tolerances.
- Achieving daily targets and working to tight deadlines
- Ensuring all work is up to a high standard and meets process requirements.
- Adapting and recycling knowledge to work efficiently.
- Have the ability to learn new processes.
