Role: Stores Assistant
Location: Leeds
Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00am - 16:00pm and 06:00am - 14:00pm on friday
Full time permanent position, you must have the right to work in the UK.
General duties include:
1. Receiving Goods: Checking deliveries, inspecting for damage or discrepancies, and signing off on the receipt of goods.
2. Stock Management: Organizing and labelling stock items, maintaining accurate inventory records, and conducting regular stock checks.
3. Stock Issuance: Ensuring that items are issued in accordance with requests, and maintaining documentation to track stock usage.
4. Data Entry: Updating inventory systems with incoming and outgoing stock details.
5. Order Processing: Assisting with preparing orders for dispatch, packaging items securely, and ensuring correct labelling.
6. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the store area organized, clean, and free from hazards.
7. Communication: Liaising with suppliers, delivery personnel, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
8. Stock Replenishment: Monitoring stock levels and informing the relevant parties when replenishment is needed.
9. Compliance: Ensuring health and safety regulations and warehouse best practices are adhered to.
10. Reporting: Assisting in preparing reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and damaged or obsolete items.
