Regional Director of Sales - Heathrow


The Opportunity

Great opportunity for a Regional Director of Sales (RDOS) to join our new sales division and effectively lead the sales requirements for our x3 hotels based within the Heathrow area and to achieve total hotel annual sales budgets

As the RDOS, you will manage a team of local area sales managers (ASM) to develop new direct business from defined territories within the Heathrow area achieving quarterly sales targets

Be a representative within the Sales Director senior sales team to share sales expertise, drive sales initiatives, develop sales culture and skills to deliver sales budget achievement, group-wide

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years in the hotel industry working in a sales leadership role for minimum of 2 years, plus
• 2+ year team management experience
• Commercial acumen: forecasting, budgeting, analytical for directing s&m planning and delivery of revenue
• Corporate, Leisure and MICE market sales development experience
• Evidenced sales successes, personally and team/s
• Direct sales experience B2B /B2C markets
•, Ideas, Opera PMS proficient
• Ability to network effectively
• Strong Organisation and Planning skills and the ability to prioritise appropriately
• Experienced in results-based, creative sales & marketing planning, execution and delivery
• Exemplary presentation skills
• Exemplary communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Evidence of team retention and/or personal development
• Degree level or equivalent qualification
• Experience of managing sales in a Franchise portfolio and / or IHG Merlin Tool
• Demonstrate brand ambassador experience
