Leisure & Activities Support Operations Manager

Responsible for overseeing and implementing the Sports and Leisure annual operational project plan. This encompasses all sports and leisure activity including All Together Active, Leisure people and Training, Leisure Retail, marketing and POS, Outdoor n Explore, specialist park requirements. To generate revenue ad grow profit in line with the business strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the implementation of the all activities for the leisure and sports programme across there region; ensuring driving consistent delivery of activities and quality of customer service; ensuring customers are engaged and feel safe & looked after when attending all activities.
  • Ensuring the successful implementation of the activities programme across the region tailored to each park profile and that brochure and web commitments for activities are met.
  • Conducting ongoing research and observing competitors to plan the next generation of ‘payable activities.
  • Good knowledge & control of all leisure being delivered in the region including all activities.
  • Check, monitor and report against all leisure and activity kpis creating action plans and using the data to improve operational standards.
  • Working with marketing on brochure and web requirements and on all sports and leisure activities on park promotional materials and point of sale.
  • Regular communication with RDs, park GMs, Head of leisure, leisure managers & activity experience managers about successes and failures.

The successful person will:

• Hold a current NPLQ Lifeguard qualification.
• Have 3 years previous experience of successfully delivering a Sports & Leisure programme.
• Multi-Site Management desirable
• Hold a RLSS or STA Trainer qualification.
• Hold a current Pool Plant Operations qualification.
• NPMQ Qualified
• Experience in large Activity operational Management
• Experience in delivering large scale Capital works projects
• Experience in designing , implementing new products , systems and processes
