• Observe all RLSS and STA requirements.
• Manage effectively all of the Activities & Leisure P&L. Lead the Activities & Leisure team ensuring maximisation of opportunities for greater efficiency and improve the performance of the park.
• Direct Line Management of Sport and Leisure Manager, Ents Manager and Arcade Manager
• Coordinate weekly operating strategy amongst direct line reports and in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager
• Successfully lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service and standards.
• Developing new ideas and initiatives to the business and implementing them where possible
• Ensure that all members of the activities & leisure teams are fully trained to the required legal standard.
• Take accountability for the effective management of all aspects of the Activates & Leisure function.
• Ensure that all standards exceed the expectations set out by company regulations and are compliant with checklists and manuals.
• Plan, implement and monitor all management procedures.
• Ensuring the safety of customers and team members and security of all activities and leisure equipment, chemicals, plant room and pools.
• The safety of all our teams and guests is a top priority and we all need to make sure we safeguard ourselves and others in everything we do. It’s important that you support this by cooperating with instructions on H&S.
• Ensure the good working order of all equipment and ensure that all procedures are followed in line with the Health & Safety guidelines.
A little bit about you...
• Hold a current NPLQ Lifeguard qualification.
• Have previous experience of successfully delivering Activities & Leisure programmes.
• Be trained in legionella awareness.
• Ideally hold a RLSS or STA Trainer qualification.
• A current Pool Plant Operations qualification would be desirable.
• Experience in leading and developing a team.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
